This comprehensive course is designed to prepare candidates for the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDAIC) Part I examination. It provides a structured, integrated approach covering both basic sciences and clinical anaesthesia, aligned with the curriculum of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care.

The course emphasizes the application of foundational knowledge to clinical scenarios, enabling participants to develop strong clinical reasoning, decision-making skills, and exam-oriented thinking. Through a combination of didactic lectures, case-based discussions, and MCQ practice, learners will gain a deep understanding of anaesthesia and intensive care principles relevant to international standards.

๐ŸŽฏ Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply physiological and pharmacological principles to anaesthetic practice
  • Interpret clinical data including ABGs, ECGs, and monitoring parameters
  • Demonstrate structured approaches to perioperative and critical care management
  • Manage common and life-threatening anaesthetic and ICU scenarios
  • Solve EDAIC-style MCQs with accuracy and confidence
  • Integrate basic sciences into clinical decision-making
